Hadleigh, Suffolk, residents Heather and Nigel Hynam and Lindsay and Graham Panton, were presented with Noel Turner Awards for outstanding building projects at the Hadleigh Society’s AGM
The Hynams were commended for the way they restored and incorporated 27 George Street into their long-time home of 25 George Street, while the Pantons were praised for the imaginative restoration and adaption of a stable-cum-Victorian folly building as a residential annex, linked to their modern low-energy new dwelling.
The Noel Turner Award is made in recognition of outstanding improvements to, or conservation of, Hadleigh’s buildings or environment.
“It is unusual for two Noel Turner Awards to be made, but both were extremely well deserved,” commented Hadleigh Society chairman, Richard Fletcher.
